hey guys come Topsy down mom I’m doing this little short vid because yeah that I took off side fairing the lights windshield just to get to my speedometer cuz I cuz I hated I hated though they’re like they’re like orangish lights well they’re orange damnit hey you could pretty much see him there I took off my speedometer or my instrument cluster and looked on YouTube I couldn’t find anything looked online once again can find just to get to it but to sum it up how it’s done take off your fairing left and right you can leave the bottom went on they just kind of bolt on right there so after you do that take all that off you must disconnect these two this one and this one gonna feed it this way take it pull it out and the only way to pull it out is you need a 10 mil or was it to see hold on where to go where to go where to go okay you need can’t see it but you need an 8 mil socket take it to these and then it’s a little bit more but screwdriver to get to these two tick just this off but you also have to tick off your light those are my lights so you gotta take those off your windshield the front part your mirrors just to take off your lights now I for one thought I was gonna be an easy process fairly easy process it just turned into just after after but I think by far the r6 fairings

pro is with that screw you don’t even have to put in there to make it fit like that add actually comes out in and out it actually goes yeah now I don’t know why I did that boo boo boo boo whatever the that’s pretty much the process man I’m just gonna put it together and of course you have to do the bolts right here in the front and yeah apparently one of my crashes ended up cashing that site but it’s a lot of work a lot of painstaking work it’s just a pain in the ass in general I wouldn’t do it if you want to install LED lights on your instrument cluster on a suzuki bandit there’s two things you’re gonna you’re gonna need patience and a damn soldering degree because they’re tiny square LED lights or just little tiny squared lights I think there’s like five and grand total than one two three four five in the center I think I didn’t I didn’t have the patience to pull everything off but you you have to have I guess the soldering degree or some another to do it because it was a pain in the ass and I would not do this again but you know the story is just showing you guys what you have to do in order to get to it all the you got to take off and just take apart just to get to r1 fairings

it and I mean if if you want LED LED instrument cluster just just buy a new one seriously it’s just buy a new one because the chances of it screwing up and I have some tiny LED lights that like that one down there I thought I was gonna be able to plug in or just at least find out the size but I mean they’re they’re tiny they’re I mean they’re really really tiny so I couldn’t do it that’s pretty much it I’m just gonna go ahead throw everything back on but after you just do a hit I’ll go ahead and just tell you after you got this set up the next part that goes back in is your headlights just put them back here and there’s bolts that scrolling right here and right there so you got these two bolts let’s screw on to the head the headlamp and that kind of just this one just kind of tucks under it 2006 gsxr 600 fairings

everybody David Jordan thanks for watching today we’re going to install a windshield on my motorcycle stay tuned so I’m getting ready to take a an extended trip on the bike and I decided that I wanted a windshield that I could put on and take off just a little extra protection on the road for the rain and bugs at night just things like that and for all kinds of reasons so what I did was I purchased a Memphis Shades windshield from Cool Springs Motorsports and here in Franklin Tennessee and I want to shout out to that crew over there those guys are wonderful Chris Kristina I’m gonna mess this up r6 fairings nokey Canuck kanuma he’s going to fuss at me for that and Jeremy you guys have been awesome I appreciate it Kristina you start that YouTube channel like you said you were going to Chris wait on YouTube brother all right so those guys hooked me up the submit fish ate the the size according to size chart for me that’s going to be about a 19 inch this is the facts F 80s windshield so it’s a little wider than some so I didn’t want something I wanted something that would provide you know like pretty decent protection also I had to get the brackets that go with it and they look like this and it doesn’t look like it’s not going to be a very difficult install but I thought some of you guys might and gals might be interested so let’s do this so the first thing I’m doing is for the headlight cones I’m taking out these two so that the brackets will fit in there and that’s not difficult I put the hex key goes with it into
the slot I’m using to sock it make it easier to this taken the other two out right now we put the bracket on just like this again this is the bottom part here this is the top up here so I put the bracket on just like that a plastic washer on and I’ll start the cat I’ll do that for both of them I’m not going to tighten these up just yet I’m going to leave them a little loose till I get all they’ll get both of them on and then I will adjust my start foot all right so r1 fairings the bracket that’s how the brackets go with the flange facing in and the hooks facing down next we take this bracket we’re going to take the nut out of it that using the long end of the allen key so you can get around there this part just simply comes right apart there I’m going to put this facing out and with the little loop part forward and slide that around this part actually just kind of goes in there like that and then just kind of snaps in place which it looks like it’s going to be really complicated but it’s not and then I will put the allen key for the nut bolt back in place let me too tight and I will just tighten that up get it approximately where I want and leave
it right there and then I’m going to do put all four of them on there all right so all four of mounting brackets are on now and you want to make sure that they’re pointing out outward from the bike and yamaha r1 fairings you wanna make sure the little loop there is going toward the headlight like you see there okay and I’ve got all four of them on not very difficult like I showed you and and essentially what I’m going to do now is put the shield on there in the brackets and align the bottom to get get them where they’re where they need to go then I’ll lock down the two bottom ones and then start working on the two top ones for final adjustments well there it is it took about it took about 30 minutes to get it on and all I did was I put all four of those brackets on there and then I seated I took the windshield and put the two bottom hooks in the brackets and then moved the top brackets around so I could get the the top ones in there and then locked in place this is a removable shield and once I did that I was able to adjust the whole shield to the desired height that I was looking for for me it’s got to go right to the bridge of my nose and that’s exactly where this one fits and so I like to stay and talk some more but that’s not going to happen you

you you first thing that we need to do before we start this Cesar is to take the bike seat off to remove this part this is from the right side I already did the left because it’s a petition I will only show you the right side and most of the side it has got this screws of a star shape or hexagon side whatever you want to call them the actual screwdriver that I’m going to use to take the screws out is this so starting from here this is the first start shape screw and then we have one more here and on top we also have another one here that we have to release and on the side two more one here and another one here then we have one big one at the radiator side it actually holds the radiator it’s one of
2006 gsxr 600 fairings the holding screws here in this sort of like air vent you can see another one but this one is actually a normal one Philips one and there is one that we cannot see that now it is vertical to this Philips one but I will show this when we take it out and finally there is a bottom plastic which has got fasteners as you can see from this side as I already said I took them off so we have one here in the center another one here another one from the inside and the final one there so this is our the thing I have to mention is that a this crews do not have all the same length so you have to take notice a where you took which one of what you remove it from for this reason this is why we use this papers from the printer the left calling I already did the diagram in the printer paper so that you can relate and see well you took each screw out from so this one is out now we will move to the bottom one which is here then we will move below now for this one which is of the radiator we might need to use because I have protective this but you might need an extension so this one is out also this one is also out so now that we removed this screw from here we will take this plastic piece off quite easy we pass to the front part of the motorcycle and here in this sort of air vent we have a normal screw one screw this one so the next thing that we have to do is take
the fasteners out the fasteners are some let’s say plastic not screws that you push them in the grub between the two plastics we will start from the center it’s at left you can take any small object this is an allen key it is quite thin so I can press in the middle and then you will hear this sound and this means that it is unlocked then you take it out this is the fastener when we want to put it back you just put it in the hole and we press and it is locked the next one is over here again press and use your nail maybe and you take it out this is a big one fasten that we are going to take out is this one it is close to the radiator again with the same method press use your nail grab and take it out next one is over here so now that we took the fasteners out can remove this bottom plastic now that we took the bottom part from here out there is a tricky screw that you cannot see before taking this bottom part out and if you try to grab and take this out you will break it and this is plastic should be very careful of course this one from the other side but as I said that I already took it out it’s a normal screw with a normal screwdriver be very careful when you are unlocking the plastic parts together if you see here this plastic hook is also very fragile now what we have to remember is that somewhere inside here there is a rubber base just like this one here I moved on a nine from ninja 300 fairings the left side and I’m going to show you this rubber base as though the best again it is from the inner part of the plastic I will zoom in to figure to see this is it so this is where a plastic spike hooks on this rubber base and I will show you now how to take it outside the first thing I’m going to do is gently pull this plastic and it reveals that there is a hook here and this plastic that grabs this one so the first thing to do is unhook this otherwise you will not be able to take this rubber base out now that we unhook this plastic the next thing is to take this sort of spike that hooks inside this rubber base you only have to put your finger and press the plastic spike so now plastic comes out again be very gentle not to break anything this is how comes out I will show it now to you the whole fuss is made for this rubber base this one this is very easily taken out and you lose it there are some bases like this rubber one but these are four screws four metal screws again be very careful not to lose those you can see one here the one here there’s another
one here now the last part to take out from plastic is this this part in the middle it uses to fasten studs to fasteners to be secured again with the allen we press pick on this is the last fastener again press with the allen key also put your other hand for resistance press it comes out this is the last fastener we have to first open the tank from this side I forgot to mention that we also need a nut which is of size 12 and again screw this bolt this board holds what the manual at least the manual calls it drop maybe because it looks like a propeller we take it out and then we lift a bit the gas tank and put the pot to the right place so that it holds it securely in order to take it out the gas tank I mean we have to disconnect the fuel hose which is this part here it has these two white plastic levers that you can push and then you just hold back this so this is a fuel hose it comes out have something for some drippings of gasoline to protect your bike give it a good wipe 2007 zx6r fairings then you can put this around it and leave it hanging for a while the next thing that we have to disconnect is the coupler you have to press this small plastic here and then pull it from above to take it out it comes off and now we have only disconnect the hose which is from the other side the last thing to disconnect as I said is the holes this hole hey if it has some sort of safety clip or something you need to cut it and take it out so that you can lift the fuel done so we take the holes out this is the last part it’s two bolts here they are connected and you need for this it ends with a 10 knot and also another 10 key like this one then will we explore this it’s done and now by hand we take it out so now we ready click the pupil shoot the boat Thank You easy and make sure if you have somewhere to put it where it will not be scratched or be damaged you

all right this is my Africa twin I was installing a Garmin GPS in it see I get the mount right there is using the stock stuff but I took it all apart and as I was putting it all back together this little guy fell down in there so I’m going to have to go in and retrieve it so I figured I’d put a little video with some info as to what I did there’s a plastic strip it goes from here to there tell it on the velcro is as you can see both sides are the same the only thing you have to remember on this is when you’re pulling the bolts out that these right here use these bolts and any everywhere else will use these bolts so you remove that once you remove that hardware we’re just going to tilt
motorcycle fairings it up a little bit as you’ll see these little notches right here then next you’ll remove this bolt and this bolt both sides are pretty similar and then you’ll start on doing two pop rivets so you can see there’s one there and then also there’s one right there that you might not be able to see on this side you’ll remove those two and then on the opposite side you remove that one right there and that one right there for the back view of view for the bike there and there once you do that you’ll come down we’ll remove that one that one that one and this one as you can see these are the style that you just depress the center and pull

them out I use a little flat tip screwdriver to pull them out doesn’t appear to damage it too much also I believe you get those things pretty easily so I’m going to pause one second after I pull that out and then I’m going to show you how to remove the plastic all right one thing I did forget to mention is that on the underside there are two ones there and one is right there as you can see just going to depress look better sometimes you can get with your finger sometimes you have to use do is let the camera all right so when you’re removing these plastics I said if I remove these I’m going to start right here you can see it’s got a little rubber grommet just pull it out a little bit fit sound horrible then as you get towards up here there’s one more well straight out now that what I noticed that’s the first time doing
ninja 250r fairings it is basically from about here back you have to pull directly out from the bike and then once you get to the front you’ll have to pull straight forward of the bike and that will release it from those rubber holders so see if I can do this with just one hand you can say more right there there was one down yeah there’s not one down here that was all help us buy it over and then right here pull straight out they come right off do one hand when you put it back together it’s all very similar just I like to start from

the forward press them in on these little rubber holders right there you can see still got still got them right now not the other side with until I learned this lesson and then for those of you that are curious I ran the cabling down I’m looping up all this extra stuff that came with the Jeep GPS down here and then running it through I lifted off the gas tank and then I actually soldered the connections to to a some loops and r6 fairings then connecting them to the battery this is just temporary until I can get some time to get a fuse box and do it correctly also for those that are curious this is a good opportunity to check your air filters as they’re right here there are literally four screws and then just tilt out in a way there’s going to be a little rubber rubber catch under there can’t probably see and yeah I’ll cover pulling the rest off and another video Thanks

Designer Leo Chang shared an early look at the KD8 silhouette and an aspect of its design inspiration, the sabertooth tiger.

The latest update from the Nike KD 8 is here, arriving at us in the form of a sneaker sketch by Nike designer Leo Chang, who leaves his own insignia on the bottom right corner. The high-rising heel counter with the split at the achilles can be compared to the massive fangs of the sabretooth tiger, which was revealed yesterday through the first KD 8 teaser photos. We were also hinted at some level inspiration from KD’s ink, with his leg tattoo of a sabretooth tiger likely being the muse to this design. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more details the latest KD shoe and let us know what your thoughts are on the design sketch above.

Stay tuned for more information about the debut of Kevin Durant’s eighth signature shoe. All this According to Nike News -

The Future of Buying Kicks

We have all had those moments, its early Saturday morning and all you want is to buy your kicks and go back to sleep. Instead, you go back to bed empty-handed, mad, and beaten by a Bot! Well Adidas and Nike are looking to level the playing field a little with their recently unveiled sneaker apps.

Adidas Confirmed

Last week “Adidas Confirmed” was introduced as a new and improved way for customers to get their hands on exclusive kicks. Adidas Confirmed uses your phones geo-targeting technology to confirm your location, and when exclusive kicks become available in your area you’ll receive a push notification. All you need to do is , hit the reserve button and pick up your kicks in store, it’s just that easy.

In a recent interview with Forbes magazine, Simon Atkins , Adidas VP of Brand Activation said :

“If you look at the landscape today in our industry, it can be very frustrating… People are faced with several issues that gets in the way of a seamless transaction. A lot of retailers use a lottery system in brick and mortar. A lot of people believe the system is rigged. Because of a live re-sale industry, a lot of people trying to game the system. We’ve tried to be the first in the industry to cut through all of that.”

Read the full interview here. It’s also no coincidence that the release of the Adidas Confirmed app coincides with the release of one of the most hyped sneakers of the year, the Yeezy Boost 750.

Nike SNKRS

Not to be out done by Adidas, Nike also released their “SNKRS” app last week. SNKRS looks to stream line your Nike kicks buying experience. It allows consumers to customize their feed on the app, so if all you want is information on Jordans and NSW kicks, that’s all you’ll see. The app also reduces the amount of time it takes to checkout. It gives you the option of having your size, address, and credit card information pre-set.

So which App is better ?

While both are steps in the right direction, it would be nice for Nike to use a location-based reservation system. We’ll see how well the Adidas Confirmed app works when the Yeezy Boost 750 gets a wider release later this month. What are your thoughts? Will these apps be the new way you buy kicks?

Our Get Fly Kicks team is always hard at work finding the kicks you want to wear, check out the latest Adidas and Nike kicks our Get Fly Kicks team found at the best price online.
Creative Recreation Back story!

Creative Recreation was founded in Los Angeles in 2002 with the sole purpose of designing footwear that fuses work and play. Inspired by the spirit of street art – with its bold creative expression and out of bounds thinking – Creative Rec doesn’t sit quietly or complacently on the sideline. We thrive in energy-charged environments, where statements are made and are unified by a single idea – that creativity matters.

Footwear for young professionals with style was no where to be found. Finally, two long time friends (To co-founders, Robert Nand and Rich Cofinco), who were already enjoying successful careers in the footwear industry, decided they would be the ones to change the game. Realizing that this generation was not going to follow in the same footsteps as the one before, Creative Recreation began their own journey. They realized early on, that being successful in today’s world economy did not require wearing a suit and tie. It was just the opposite. This generation is in control of its destiny. This generation is more creative and certainly more inventive in terms of recreation; thus the stylish sneaker was born.

There was a huge gap between kicks for play and well kicks for play in the professional world. This is where Creative Recreation comes in because they bridged that gap. There was the same old stuffy shoes for business, even business days that really did not call for stuffy business shoes. This is where Creative Recreation steps in and says you can now wear casual Fly Kicks for the work space during those not so professional days and in my case all the time.

What asked about their demographic this what Co-founder Robert Nand says: “The need to define a particular demographic. We don’t have a demographic, tells Nand. We want to be known as a company that makes footwear. We do everything we can to not get stuck in one demographic or another.”

Originality is a pillar of CR. How do you continually maintain originality?
Nand: We just do us. We don’t look to other brands to see what direction their going in. We just follow our own path and make shoes for us.

Check out the latest Creative Recreations our team has found that are now on sale!

Here you will learn 5 shoe lacing methods. Did you know there are almost 2 Trillion ways mathematically to feed a shoelace through those twelve eyelets!

Here I am going to show you 5 shoe lacing methods that will get people asking how you did it. In a world where everybody is trying to be unique, these 5 different Fly methods to lace up will give you that edge you need to Fly out. You are going to need it with you’re new Fly Kicks anyway. Some of the methods are easy and some are hard, these 5 methods were chosen because they look the Fly, and we here at Get Fly Kicks are always thinking of way to look Fly!

Once you are done reading you will have 5 new ways to Fly out you’re new Kicks

Let’s get to it, everybody know how to to tie their shoes right? Yes, even though we all use 1 of 4 different methods. Does everybody know how to lace up their shoes? Nope. Remember when you were a kid you would say “Mom can you do my shoe laces?” Most Kicks come the laces half done, we just finish what was started. Everybody does the original Criss Cross Lacing method so this one will not count, since it is probably the way your kicks are laced up already. Drum roll please…

#5. Straight Bar

Best on: Low/Mid/Casual

Also referred to as “Lydiard Lacing” or “Fashion Lacing”, this variation of Straight Lacing eliminates the underlying diagonals, which looks neater plus relieves pressure on the top ridge of the foot.

Straight Bar

• Begin straight across on the outside (grey section) and in through the bottom eyelets.

• The left (blue) end runs straight up on the inside, then straight across on the outside.

• Both ends run straight up on the inside, each skipping one eyelet and emerging two eyelets higher up.

• Both ends continue straight across on the outside and in through the adjacent eyelets.

• Alternate running up on the inside and across on the outside until lacing is completed.

Notes:
Straight Bar Lacing only works correctly on shoes with even numbers of eyelet pairs (eg. 8 pairs = 16 eyelets). This is because the lace must cross the shoe an even number of times so that the ends will meet and can be tied together. On shoes with an odd number of eyelet pairs (eg. 7 pairs = 14 eyelets), the lace ends finish diagonally opposite each other at the top of the shoe.

Despite this limitation, Straight Bar Lacing is VERY popular. This has led people to develop all sorts of ways to get it to work on shoes with odd numbers of eyelet pairs.

#4. Spider Web

Best on: High Tops

Like an angled version of Ladder Lacing, this decorative method is also worn on military boots. The laces weave vertically and diagonally, forming an intricate “web”. This method looks pretty Fly on any kicks though. High To

Lacing Technique:

• Begin straight across on the inside (grey section) and out through the second-from-bottom set of eyelets.

Spider Web

• The ends run straight down the sides and in through the bottom set of eyelets.

• The ends cross over and run diagonally up and out through the next vacant set of eyelets.

• At each eyelet pair, the ends run straight down and feed under the vertical lace sections below before crossing over and continuing diagonally up and out through the next higher set of eyelets. Repeat until lacing is completed.

Notes:
• This lacing looks particularly effective on high boots with many eyelets, especially when contrasting laces are used.

• Tall boots with a very wide spacing between the sides display the maximum area of woven shoelace “spider web”.

#3. Lattice

Best on: Any Style

This very popular method forms a decorative lattice in the middle of the lacing. The laces are crossed at a steep angle, allowing them to be woven through each other.

Lacing Technique (center only):

• Cross the ends on the outside and feed in through the set of eyelets three rows higher up the shoe (skip past two sets of eyelets).

Lattice

• Run both ends straight up on the inside and out through the next higher set of eyelets.

• Cross the ends on the outside and feed in through the set of eyelets three rows lower down the shoe (skip past two sets of eyelets).

• Run both ends straight up on the inside and out through the next higher set of eyelets.

• Cross the ends on the outside and feed through the set of eyelets three rows higher up the shoe (skip past two sets of eyelets).

Notes:
• It’s easier to do the weaving and get all the “Overs” and “Unders” correct if you firstly complete the left (blue) end, then weave the right (yellow) end in and out.

• Unlike most lacing methods, which can be run through as many eyelets as are available, the basic lattice at the core of this method uses six pairs of eyelets. For shoes with 7 or more pairs of eyelets, that lattice is extended with vertical passes or crossovers or with a gap in the middle.

• For 11+ pairs of eyelets, two or more complete lattices can be joined end to end.

#2. Supernova

Best on: Athletic/Low/Mid

This one is pretty awesome, like two Starbursts on top of each other, one on the outside, the other on the inside. Needs the maximum length of shoelace and is useful for “shortening” long laces.

Lacing Technique:

- for even numbers of eyelet pairs:

Supernova

• Begin straight across on the outside (grey section) and in through the pair of eyelets just below the middle.

• Cross the ends diagonally upwards on the inside and feed out through the next vacant set of eyelets up the shoe.

• Cross the ends diagonally downwards on the outside and feed in through the next vacant set of eyelets down the shoe.

• Continue running diagonally up on the inside and diagonally down on the outside with progressively taller crossovers until lacing is completed.

Notes
This lacing method, like most decorative methods, is more difficult to tighten. Luckily, it has the advantage that the top is like a V-neck tee-shirt. Once the knot is untied, the top of the shoe can be opened wide to easily slip the foot in or out without needing to loosen or re-tighten all of the lacing.

#1. Shoe Shop

Best on: Any Style

This what is used for photo shoots, music videos and store displays because many shoes come pre-laced this way from the factory. One end runs from bottom to top while the other end zig-zags through the eyelets. Sometimes referred to as “Factory Lacing” or “Single Helix Lacing”.

Lacing Technique:

• Begin straight across on the outside (grey section) and in through the bottom eyelets.

Shoe Shop

• The left (blue) end runs all the way up the inside and out through the top right eyelet (or top left eyelet for variation 2).

• The right (yellow) end runs diagonally up and left on the inside, then straight across on the outside. Repeat until lacing is completed.

• For variation 2, the right (yellow) end reaches the second from top right eyelet, then runs straight up the inside and out through the top right eyelet.

Notes:
The left and right shoes can be laced in reverse (mirror image) to end up with a symmetrical look.
