The new KD8 is the most technically advanced shoe that Nike has created for Kevin Durant. Designer Leo Chang shared an early look at the KD8 silhouette and an aspect of its design inspiration, the sabertooth tiger.
The latest update from the Nike KD 8 is here, arriving at us in the form of a sneaker sketch by Nike designer Leo Chang, who leaves his own insignia on the bottom right corner. The high-rising heel counter with the split at the achilles can be compared to the massive fangs of the sabretooth tiger, which was revealed yesterday through the first KD 8 teaser photos. We were also hinted at some level inspiration from KD’s ink, with his leg tattoo of a sabretooth tiger likely being the muse to this design.
